Amanda Gonzalez-Miller teaches first grade at Lafayette Elementary. She teaches the basic academic subjects: reading, math, writing, science, and social studies.

Amanda has been with the Seattle Schools since 1989 and has been at Lafayette since 2000. She received her BA Degree from Whitworth College in Spokane, Washington and her teaching certificate from Central Washington University in Ellensburg, Washington. She continues to progress her passion for teaching and her enthusiasm for working with first graders.
