About Mr. Beal...
Originally from Vail
Mr. Beal is a certified facilitator and member of the National School Reform Faculty (NSRF), and continues to train and work with this important organization. He has authored chapters in several education texts, including Excellence in Classroom Management (Publication 2006). He has contributed to The Creative Classroom series, published by Walt Disney Learning, as well as the Washington Forest Protection Agency’s current Environmental Education Curriculum
Mr. Beal is a recipient of the Disney American Teacher Award, appearing on Good Morning America, Oprah, Orlando Morning, and ABC Television’s Heroes in the Classroom. He has appeared on Who wants to be a Millionaire- Teacher’s Week. Mr. Beal has traveled across the country, representing Disney Learning, speaking to teachers and universities on creative teaching strategies. Dano has been an annual presenter at the Washington Association of Educators for the Talented and Gifted (WAETAG). Mr. Beal has been selected as the Washington State Science Teacher of the year, as well as regional Elementary Science teacher of the year. He has served as a consultant for the anti-bullying program Dewey Doo-it, and Whale Tales, a Seattle based environmental education outreach program.
